Here are a few words that may need some further explanation. More will be added as questions for clarification arise...
- Click
- When we ask you to click on something, what we mean is this... move your mouse pointer over the item we're discussing, and then press (and quickly release) the left button on your mouse.
- Right-Click
- Similar to clicking, only in this case, we'll want you to click the right button on your mouse. Note that when not explicitly stated, clicking always assumes that we're talking about the left button.
- Middle-Click
- On a three-button mouse, we'll be wanting you to click the middle button here. Note that most modern mice do not have a middle button, but rather a wheel. In this case, you can actually press down on the mouse wheel just like you would a middle button. If you have a two-button mouse, then you're out of luck. The option we're discussing is not available to you.
