For a brief period before the tragic hour of the cross, Jesus was alone with his disciples and friends.

He took this opportunity to say some things that were both profound and significant.

Some of these things had to do primarily with the twelve and the difficulties that would face them in the years ahead. All of his teachings during this period, however, were filled with meaning for his followers until the end of time.
